Position Description

Bloom is currently seeking a highly motivated senior level Civil Engineer. This position requires you to work with a growing civil engineering group on a diverse variety of projects. Project work currently includes civil site development for new and redevelopment sites, grading design, storm water management (hydraulic and hydrologic design, certification, and permitting), sanitary and storm sewer evaluation and rehabilitation, domestic water distribution design, low impact development and green infrastructure design.

Responsibilities:

Assist, under the direction of Bloom leadership, in all civil infrastructure design tasks required for each unique project. This is dependent upon skill level and experience, but may include:

  • Actively participating in the project planning and design process. This includes, data gathering and field investigations, developing design/feasibility studies, plans, specifications, cost estimates and design reports.
  • Serving as the technical reviewer for all project deliverables and design calculations in the Civil Engineering Group.

Position Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall experience in the engineering field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Strong technical design skills
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Illinois

Position Description

Bloom is currently seeking a highly motivated senior level Civil Engineer who is looking to be a leader in project management and technical review. This position requires you to work with a growing civil engineering group on a diverse variety of projects.   • Working with Bloom’s management team to:

  • Collecting general property information, historic land use information, plats, as-builts, boring logs, and other documents required for the surveying efforts and/or to support the design efforts.

Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager – Milwaukee, WI

Position Description

As a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager, you will have the opportunity lead projects and to apply your theoretical knowledge and engineering experience to solve practical problems, primarily related to electrical and control systems associated with heavy movable structures and transportation systems. These will include highway and railroad movable bridges of all types (swing, vertical lift, and bascule) as well as rail transit systems.
