We are excited to share updates from our Bloom Boston office expansion in the MBTA market. Our team has been expanding, and we’re thrilled to announce several significant developments that underscore our progress and achievements.

Bloom is certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. We are presently awaiting approval for our Massachusetts Minority Business Enterprise Supplier Diversity Office certification application. We take pride in our clients’ and partners’ initiatives to incorporate diversity goals into their projects.

We’re pleased to announce that our Boston office has quadrupled in size with more talented individual professionals joining our ranks at our local office at 265 Franklin Street, Suite 1702, Boston, MA. With their expertise and our dedication, we are making great strides in our pursuits with the services we offer. Our goal is to further strengthen our Boston office team, and we’re on track to continue our growth in the Boston Office throughout the year.

Alongside our expanding team, we’re proud to announce that we’ve secured two prime contract awards with the MBTA. These contracts are for the OCE General Architectural Consulting and our most recent win, General Engineering Consulting (GEC) Services for Railroad Operations Directorate Water Transportation. Furthermore, our involvement in high-profile MBTA initiatives such as the Green Line Central Tunnel, Ashmont Track Replacement, Owner’s Rep Draw 1, and other multiple GEC contracts underscores our expertise and capability to deliver exceptional results.

As we look ahead, we are excited about the opportunities available for us in the Boston market. Bloom representatives attended and exhibited the 19th Biennial Movable Bridge Symposium hosted at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld, Florida. Attendees from Bloom enjoyed discussing all things movable structures with colleagues, clients, and consultants. We found the 40+ technical presentations specific to the Heavy Movable Structure industry to be very impactful. There was even some time to sneak in some fun at SeaWorld! Thank you to the Heavy Movable Structure team for organizing such an impressive event. We are already looking forward to the 20th Biennial Symposium.
