Scope and Limits of Construction Work

Bloom and our construction division, Vista, designed and constructed a Wharf replacement. The work included the demolition and disposal of the exiting Wharf, approximately 3,500 sq. ft., and the construction of a new Wharf within the same footprint and the same dimensions as the existing Wharf. The new Wharf consisted of furnishing and installing precast concrete piles and reinforced concrete beams and deck. Also included was furnishing and installing steel cleats and access ladders at the locations shown on the project drawings. Electrical, communications, potable water and sanitary sewer shore ties were also furnished and installed. Additional work included completing the above Wharf Facility constructed of all wood piles, wood beams and steel connections.

The scope of work included proving all labor, equipment, tools and materials, transportation and supervision required to construct a complete replacement of the existing Wharf.
