Job Description:

Bloom Companies, LLC is a civil engineering/architecture/construction management firm. We provide innovative design and construction solutions to public agencies and private companies.

We are seeking a self-starting, highly motivated and talented to join our team as a Civil Engineering Technician in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin office.

The work will be a varied based on current projects.  Responsibilities will include field surveying/processing the survey information and CAD drafting of Civil Engineering Plans.  Because of the surveying aspect, the candidate will need to occasionally work in inclement weather and will need to be able to lift 75 pounds.  Potentially, the candidate may be able to use this experience to help obtain a Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) license.

Position Description:

• Field surveying. Topographic surveys, boundary surveys and construction staking.
• Develop roadway and civil/site design plans and details utilizing MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Interact and communicate effectively with team members.

Position Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology.
• Working knowledge of CAE software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and Micro Station.
• Working knowledge of Total Station and GPS surveying equipment and surveying standards.
