Bloom is currently in search of a talented and motivated junior-level Designer to become a part of our expanding architectural department. Pay Range: $50,000 – $75,000 annually

Job Description Details

  • Contribute to the design, production, and coordination of deliverables through all project phases as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Assist in the coordination and integration of engineering components and consultant work into a unified set of design documents
  • Assist with material research and product selection, developing related finish presentations and contributing to project specifications
  • Assist with building code and zoning ordinance research and review
  • Interact, communicate, and collaborate effectively with Director of Architecture, project managers, and other team members both internal and external
  • Contribute to office initiatives, professional development efforts, and activities that strengthen our company culture

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a professionally accredited program
  • 1-5 years of relevant professional experience in one or more markets including Education, Commercial, Municipal, and Transportation
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketch-Up, and other modeling and rendering software
  • Self-starter with strong work ethic, time management, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects
  • Design & creative talent with confidence to take initiative and challenge yourself to constantly improve and learn
  • Strong verbal and graphic/visualization communication skills
  • Team player with good decision-making skills, willing to accept a full range of responsibilities
  • Demonstrated interest and progress toward becoming a Registered Architect
  • Passion for sustainable practices and interest in working towards certification (LEED, FitWell, etc.)
