Scope and Limits of Construction Work

The project included bridge widening and new off-ramp construction, upgrades and signal installation at six intersections, reconstruction of the intersection of Silver Spring Drive and Port Washington Road, and new transit pull outs and park and ride.  The work was performed under live traffic, in multiple stages, with temporary signals.

Bloom completed oversight of multiple contractors in accordance with project plans and specifications; coordination of utilities and Bayshore Mall development; public involvement and information; contract documentation and correspondence; and management of weekly materials and quantities take-offs.
