Construction Engineer/Project Manager – Milwaukee, Madison, & Green Bay, WI

Position Description

  • Construction schedule monitoring
  • Project budget monitoring
  • Field supervision of trained technicians
  • Translate and implement project plans and special provisions
  • Evaluate and document construction operations
  • Sample, test and provide acceptance for materials used on projects according to standards and special criteria
  • Complete required project documentation including progress payments and contract changes to achieve final project acceptance
  • Ensure quality control activities are performed for all assigned work and back check work of others
  • Interact and communicate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE license preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in construction inspection and construction layout staking.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Transportation construction engineering practices, standards and documentation
  • HTCP WisDOT Certifications
  • Good decision making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and Power Point) and CADD (MicroStation preferred)

Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager – Milwaukee, WI

Position Description

  • Organize and manage civil design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ensure quality control activities are performed for all assigned work and back check work of others
  • Interact and communicate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies
  • Planning, design, and construction management for sanitary sewer, stormwater, water distribution, water resources, pump station and transportation projects

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Wisconsin PE license required
  • 10+ years of experience in site engineering design
  • Familiarity with Division of Facilities Development and Management (DFDM) engineering practices, standards and documentation
  • Good decision making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently on project design tasks.
  • Experience with Microstation, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word and Power Point)

Senior Engineer/Project Manager (Transportation) – Green Bay, WI; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN

Position Description

  • Oversee the preparation of design plans, specifications, and quantities
  • Experience in the design of highways and local streets and must be familiar with WisDOT design standards
  • Manage contract deliverables on time and within budget
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and contracts
  • Ensure quality control activities are performed for all assigned work and back check work of others
  • Interact and communicate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies
  • Manage and direct interaction between multiple offices 

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Wisconsin PE license preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in highway engineering design

Structural Engineer/Project Manager (Bridge) – Chicago, IL

Position Description

  • Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ensure quality control activities are performed for all assigned work and back check work of others
  • Interact and communicate effectively with design team members, clients and other agencies
  • Design structural systems of cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, and structural steel
  • Design of culverts, bridges, and retaining walls.
  • Perform and/or coordinate the review of shop drawing submittals and posts modifications as needed

Position Requirements

  • Illinois S.E. License required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in supervision of structural project staff
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products; and working knowledge of Microstation programs
  • Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs
  • Good decision making skills, flexibility, focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills

Resident Engineer – Chicago, IL 

Position Description
